The Security Manager provides a centralized interface for auditing, managing, and provisioning users, roles, and groups across your entire EPM environment.
User Manager
Search and view all users across your EPM environment in a highly responsive grid. You can filter users by provisioning status, assigned roles, or application access. Double-clicking a user reveals their detailed group memberships and explicit access grants.
Security Report
Need an export for IT or compliance? The Security Report tool pulls a full extract of all provisioning for a specific application. It automatically formats the output into an easy-to-read Excel sheet, saving hours of manual formatting.
Security Drift
Security Drift is one of the most powerful features in Captain EPM, critical for SOX compliance and internal audits.
It compares two security snapshots and highlights exactly what changed. The output clearly displays:
- Who gained new access (and to what specific artifacts).
- Who lost access.
- Role changes (e.g., promoted to Power User).
Snapshots
Save a point-in-time snapshot of your security posture. You can store and compare as many snapshots as needed. We recommend taking a baseline snapshot right after your Go-Live or Annual Audit.
Snapshots are stored securely within your tenant environment and are required for the Security Drift tool to function.
