CaptainMCP Overview
CaptainMCP is a lightweight Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that acts as a natural language bridge between your AI tools (like Cursor, Claude Desktop, or NotebookLM) and your Oracle EPM environments.
Why CaptainMCP?
Traditional interactions with Oracle EPM involve navigating complex UIs, writing intricate Groovy scripts, or executing REST API calls manually. CaptainMCP exposes the top 20 most-used Oracle EPM REST API functions as standardized MCP tools.
By connecting CaptainMCP to an LLM, you give the AI the ability to securely and contextually manage your EPM environment. You can ask your AI to run jobs, analyze metadata, or check substitution variables using plain English.
