Backups — the whole lifecycle, in your own storage.
Oracle keeps your nightly artifact snapshot for a matter of days. Conductor keeps it for as long as your policy says, on infrastructure you control — and gives you a governed way to put it back.
Capture
Conductor downloads the snapshot Oracle’s own maintenance window already produced — no re-export, no additional load on the EPM environment. Point it at the default Artifact Snapshot or a custom-named snapshot of your own.
Retain
Grandfather-Father-Son retention: keep the last N backups plus the last backup of each of the last M months. Every stored file shows its own retention status — Daily, Monthly, Both, or Expires next run — with running disk usage per environment.
Restore — the nuclear option, gated like one
One click restores any stored backup to any environment you’re entitled to — including a different one from where it came. The sequence is explicit and shown step by step, with a destructive warning, type-the-environment-name confirmation and live per-step status.
Upload to environment — the scalpel
A non-destructive alternative: stage a stored backup into the target’s Migration repository and stop there, so you import just the artifacts you want, in Oracle, by hand. Nothing is wiped — and the activity feed labels it as an upload, never a restore.
Restart-safe. Governed. Notified.
- Restart-safe by design — a backend restart mid-download or mid-restore never produces a false failure or a run stuck in “Running”; both reconcile on startup
- Schedules whose target no longer exists are retired, instead of failing quietly every night
- Backup files live on your host filesystem, per environment, outside the container

Straight talk: Oracle artifact snapshots do not include Data Management staging data. Conductor backs up what the snapshot contains — and won't pretend otherwise.

Once, daily, weekly or monthly execution for jobs, routines and test suites, with per-schedule notification emails — and true outcomes: a schedule that dispatched successfully but whose work failed reports as failed.
Test Suites for Change Management
After a monthly Oracle update or a migration — how do you know everything still works? Suites run your critical processes against the live environment and return a per-step pass/fail verdict with recorded durations. Optional expected durations flag breaches for review.
Metadata Sync & Smart Forms
Dimensions and members synced from your applications power dropdown pickers in every job form, so operators select real members instead of typing them — with freshness and sync status shown where the choice is made.
Business Rule Discovery
Rules and their runtime prompts are discovered from the application’s own Calculation Manager definitions, then rendered as structured inputs with the right dimension picker per prompt. Manual definition remains available as a universal fallback.
Groups & Roles
Partition connections, jobs, schedules, test suites and backups by owner group — for teams managing several environments or clients from one deployment. Admin, Operator and Viewer roles, enforced on the server and not merely hidden in the UI.
Activity Console & Audit Trail
A unified feed of every execution with per-step detail, exit codes and full command transcripts. Everything a run produces — exports, reports, logs — you can download, and every download is recorded with the user who performed it.
Self-Hosted Licensing
Offline, cryptographically signed licence bound to your organisation. No outbound call to a vendor server at run time — and expiry moves the platform to read-only rather than shutting it off mid-close.

- An environment that has been removed is labelled as removed everywhere it appears, and cannot be run against
- Connection health reflects the outcome of the last real test and the evidence of recent runs — not the fact that someone once clicked Test
- Dimension pickers say when their metadata is stale or the last sync failed, at the point where you’re choosing a member
- A failed query surfaces as a failure — the dashboard does not report health it could not verify
Enhanced ICP Beta
An enhanced intercompany view that takes Oracle's intercompany matching output and presents it as a structured, reviewable result — account-level drill-down, mismatch highlighting and a sendable export, with review comments that persist across runs so the conversation travels with the numbers.

Hierarchy Report Beta
Your dimension hierarchies, readable — and what changed since last time. Every member's full ancestry is threaded across generation columns and written to Excel, one sheet per dimension, with alternate placements shown in their own context rather than as rows you cannot tell apart.
Run it twice and Conductor reports what was added, removed or moved. The comparison is keyed on the full ancestry path, so a member that changed parent reads as moved — with both paths — rather than as a deletion and an unrelated addition.
